Beyond the stars

We have been trying to hit everything we can when we are in LA and today it was the turn to head to somewhere both R and I were looking forward to - Griffith Park.

The park is huge,but our final destination was right at the very top of the park. Griffith observatory. It has been in numerous films (one of my favourites being Rebel without a Cause), but more importantly you can go and see the fantastic shows and hands on experiments.

Wee B is a little too small to enjoy this but we took a chance on going to the planetarium show. At first he was scared, but as the narrator gradually talked us through the start and the dimming of the lights, he eventually settled down and had a half hour of hugging and watching the stars. It was by far one of the best (and longest)shows that I have ever seen.

Before we headed off we also got to see the Hollywood sign and have allay in the grounds before heading off for lunch
