Struggling through

This poor little moorhen had quite a job getting through the algae? on the top of the pond today. It was busily wading to and fro gathering reeds for its nest.

I finished week 4 of my Forensic Psychology MOOC today and was shocked that until 1992 the police had no formal training in interview techniques. We were learning all about how it is possible to contaminate evidence by the way you ask questions at interview and the techniques you should use to prompt recall but without influencing the witness - very interesting stuff !
