View From Our Balcony

Our hotel in Fortaleza is situated right on the beach - unfortunately it is just for walking and jogging, which many people seem to do here; there is no real beach there for swimming.

The hotel is situated in a bit shady neighbourhood and the number one night club in the region is right next door...

The pier in the picture was designed with the one in Brighton in mind, but unfortunately the constructors ran out of money and thus the pier stands here unfinished - which does not prevent people from using it.
