Everything is beautiful...

... in the sunshine. This was the scene from the Millennium Bridge at midday, a time when the light is not supposed to be optimal for photography, but when I often find myself taking photos. My new phone has a pedometer on it, so when I have to drive somewhere, I try to park a long way away and accumulate more steps. My walk today took me over the Nith, through town and up to the hospital, so I have almost done my 10000 steps for today.
It would be better not to drive at all, of course, but today I was picking up Sarah from the station, at the end of her week working as a steward at Glastonbury. She arrived looking more tanned than she had done after three months in Cambodia!
