Hibiscus

My wife is a plant fanatic, our patio is full of pots and planters containing a wide variety of flowers, ferns, and other growing material. My personal favorite is the recently purchased hibiscus shown here. It sits right behind my desk area and puts out large pink blooms on a regular basis, which is a good thing as they are beautiful for a day, before fading away by the next morning. This bloom was obviously in full glory today, but the conversion to black and white reduced it to a study in form rather than a celebration of its beauty (I have plenty of those types of photos as well).
