Hot Water!

Our house is 14 years old now, and this week seems to be the week the appliances have chosen to clap out.

Yesterday one of our 3 (yes 3!) air conditioning systems decided it would need several hundred dollars lavishing on it if it was to attempt to keep us cool this summer.

Then we noticed a wet patch on the carpet and a trail of water that led back to the water heater, that had a nice steady drip coming out of it. Sigh. The plumber had a look yesterday and said it would need replacing. Even bigger sigh.

So, having been relieved of more money today, I am now the happy owner of a brand spanking new 75 gallon gas water heater.
