A mother and child reunion

This is a mother alpaca and her week old baby. The folks who own the place we stayed at are trying to build a herd of alpacas.

We left Paris this morning and drove to Rancon. The owners of the place are British and decided to get away from it all and have a "farm" in the French countryside. They have a three room bed and breakfast. Will be opening a campground on the property next weekend.
