London: Red arrows fly-past, Trooping the Colour

I happened to be in central London during the Trooping of the Colour, which is a celebration of the Queen's birthday. Her official birthday is on 21 April, but it is traditionally celebrated in June, when the weather is warmer and more suited to a parade!

I was fortunate to nab a prime spot for the fly-past right in front of Buckingham Palace! The Queen and the Royal family came out onto the balcony, and the RAF, including the famed Red Arrows, did a fly-past over Buckingham palace! This picture was when the Red Arrows flew over Victoria Memorial. (poor quality as it was a screen shot of the video I took!) It was a magnificent event! I felt proud to be a Brit.
