It wasn't me!!!

For once Eddie was not the one in trouble on our walk. Usually any mishap or misdemeanour involves him, but today his friend Bella kindly took over, and evened the score in one go. She managed to find a huge pile of something disgusting to roll in, possibly from a fox. I cannot begin to describe the horrendous smell. Luckily we both had wipes and cleaned her up as best we could, it was over her head and neck, her collar and all over her back. The smell was so bad we were feeling sick just walking behind her, E had no option but to take her home and get the hosepipe on her in the garden.
