So it was the first proper day of my holidays today. I got up with Roz and headed into town where I went straight to the spa for a couple of hours sunbathing in the outdoor hot tub.

After that I had a wander through Princes Street Gardens on route to go and get a coffee and bumped into Jamie so I stopped and chatted to him for a bit. I nipped up for an iced coffee at Brewlab then headed out to meet Rebecca at Peters yard so we could talk about Arduinos and potential workshops for my students since her Arduino project was so impressive.

Of course all of that meant I spent far longer out in the sun than I planned and, as a result, I look like I've been dooking for chips this evening.
