Ben Lomond from Ben Vorlich

As the weather forecast was good for today we decided to go hillwalking. Ben Vorlich by Loch Lomond was one of the Munros from which I hadn't seen the view, and so we decided to go there. It took about 2 hours to get there as there are roadworks on the A82. There was a little cloud on the hills in the morning but that cleared to leave a warm day. We decided to go up the hill by the Little Hills. This is a slow route but really lovely with great views, so we took our time to look at the views, flowers and keep cool. This is the view of Ben Lomond and it looks a really fine hill. It is one of our last 5 Munros and I'm looking forward to it. There was still snow visible on some of the Arrochar hills and that is unusual for July. Near the top at about 920 metres we saw a lizard and were able to look at it for about 10 minutes. That was the best I've seen one.
