The Grey Dog

Today I was working on the isles of Scarba and Lunga, a great hot summer day to be out in this area. The tidal race between the islands is called the Grey dog which was running today as you can see in this shot but not as much as in a spring tide which you can see here.

Today we saw lots of wildlife including Hen harrier, a Sea Eagle too far away for a good blip, Marsh Fritillary Butterfly and Forrester moths. All in all a very good day
