Cigarette cards

While tidying up I came across several complete sets of cards from the 1920s and 1930s. It used to be the norm for very many people to smoke and tobacco companies put cards in the cigarette packets and an album could be bought for 1 penny (less than half 1 pence) I believe two of the sets are over 100 years old. In those days children would spend nothing apart from the album but now children eagerly spend a pound in order to buy a few cards or stickers.
