Chester

A Vietnam era veteran, Chester is homeless and gets by on about $700 per month. It's nearly the 4th of July and I'm reminded of all of those who have served our country and helped to maintain the freedom and independence that we enjoy. Yet Chester, a man who served honorably, can't afford a place to live. What do our politicians make of that? They continue to play games, refuse to engage in meaningful dialogue and of course get nothing done, while Chester and so many more like him struggle to survive. Hmmm...
