The Fairy Factory

On a walk along the canal I stumbled across the disused fairy factory. Originally built during the Edwardian fairy boom, this factory fell into disuse in the 1980s following mass cheap imports of fairies from Luxembourg. Now it rusts quietly, a symbol of our former manufacturing might when this factory and others like it supplied the British Empire, and the World, with fairies.
