Abbotsford House

This is one of my favourite haunts; it was the home of Sir Walter Scott and is open to the public to view the lower floors. Gorgeous building, beautiful grounds. Nothing beats sitting under a tree in the gardens on a sunny day, by the River Tweed, with a copy of Waverley.
