A night out

Funny old day. we left the house at 7:45 am to take Sam and Charlotte canyoning and of course when you need it the mobile reception in the valley was down. Climbed out of our valley to reception - memories of Hannah as an addicted adolescent walking it every day before any reception at the house - to get a message that it was cancelled because it had been raining all night, which of course we already knew.
A good opportunity though, after much moaning fm son about getting up so early for no reason, to have a walk around Monselgues.
As recompense we booked ourselves into a recommeronded restaurant in Les Vans for supper - not sure the Cabbage Leaf is a great name - which was very pleasant. Archetypal French town in the warm Summer evening with bars and restaurants spilling onto pavements.
