So, school's out for ... winter! Two weeks of fun and games or never ending noise in the house.

I have made a delicious butter chicken tonight, all from scratch, including kasundi which is an Indian relish used in this dish. Butter chicken is as popular in Australia as chicken korma is in England. I prefer the latter, but our attempts to recreate what we used to get from our Indian takeaway in Chester-le-Street have been edible but nowhere near.
