YUCCA !

This Yucca seems to love its location as it flowered last year & here it is flowering again this year. Because it is so big (well over 6' tall) I couldn't seem to get a picture that justified the beast so this is the one I plumped for.

The Black Fly seem to love this plant and so in turn do the ants who look after them to take advantage of honeydew that the BF excrete.

Quick trip out to get some bread & some "bread" this am, then home to eat it ..yum.

Of course I should mention that the 4 July is the day that America became independent from Great Britain. Interestingly 3 American presidents in a row died on this day...not a lotta people know that....

Very very hot today with a cooling breeze...maybe a case of watching Wimbledon with a the fan on today. Definitely too hot to do too much !
