Brooding

After yesterday's walk by mid afternoon there was the crackling of thunder and a real mood to the air.

Waking up this morning the rain was pouring down in an almighty fashion. It did stop long enough for me to pop out to the terrace to grab this picture.

The lovely thing with being on holiday of course is the ability to look at the weather and go elsewhere, we drove to Alicante just over 2 hours away for lunch where it was 30 degrees and sunny. At that point it was impossible to imagine the wet scene back in Chulilla.
