Loving the Lavender!

Went out on a garden safari this morning ........ the bees & hoverflies were very busy all over the Lavender ...... as you can see this one was loving it!!!! There were a couple of butterflies too .... but I've not seen many this year yet.

While I was in the garden there was a sudden commotion! A lot of squawking .... the birds were obviously upset about something ....... I looked up just in time to see a Sparrowhawk being chased away by about a dozen Starlings ...... that explained all the noise!!! The posse were successful & peace has now returned!
