Why Do we have children?

We have children because we love our partners and we want to capture that love in a physical form.

We have children because we want longevity of life. We want to leave some essence of us behind.

We have children, because the joy they give when they are placed in your arms is so amazing, you just have to do it.

We have children, so that when you need a Blip for Independence Day, (USA's I have no problem with), you can dress them up, and make them pose appropriately.

Then they have a strop, decide that the photo does not do them justice; make you take it down; agree to go for a run with you to find a new photo; decline to pose in any position which may impact credibility. Then decide upon returning from run, that the original photo wasn't too bad in the first place, and yes you may put it back up again.

And despite this... I still do love her. Lots.
