Meeting the family

We were due to stay with one of Mrs W's Aunty's (Tante), however her husband (Mrs W's Uncle (Oom) died on Tuesday evening. We had planned to see Oom Evert today. Well we did see him since the custom here is to see the body laid out at his home. It was of course good to see Mrs W's Tante and offer her our condolences. It was 8 years since our last visit, and so to miss Oom Evert by a few days was very sad.

We met Mrs W's cousin and family later in the day, and here is Mrs W taking a picture of them. I hit it off with their youngest daughter despite having few words of Dutch.
