Titan Crane

Co -incidentally on the day when the Queen launched the new aircraft carrier at Rosyth I was attending a photography course at the Titan Crane which is situated at the former John Brown shipyard on the Clyde, where ships such as the Queen Mary and QE2 were built . The Titan Crane is the last visible reminder of that great industry and can now be visited and ascended. Unfortunately our course was only half completed as a power failure meant that we could not go to the top of the crane. Perhaps though a blessing in disguise as the weather was dreadful and views from the top would have ben limited.A rearranged date might produce more successful pictures.
