Bat orchid

The family returned from Kintyre today with lots of damp tents and dirty clothes. We carried Jamie's old boat down to the pond & Megan & Angus paddled out to the islands. It looks great (& will be easier when I find the oars)

To celebrate July 4th we watched Independence Day (very underrated in my opinion). Spag bog, bottle of tinto and a movie.

Then Claire discovered a bat hanging onto the bottom of one of her orchid pots. It must have flown in through the bathroom window. I prised it off and left it outside on the windowsill. Good luck to it.
