Tomigawa ravine

This is a really magical place. It's really beautiful and teaming with wildlife. There is a shrine here and on the face of the rockwalls someone carved images of Buddha.
In the 1600s there was a huge flood in this area that killed over 400 people and destroyed a years worth of food for twice as many.
