Receding Hills

We've arrived at out motel at a tiny settlement called Ward, and have enjoyed a scrumptious chicken burger with chips for a takeaway tea.

An Uneventful trip up the east coast, the weather was beautiful, the trip along the Kaikoura Coast magnificent. First day of school hols ,but fortunatly the traffic was light.

We stopped off to walk up the track to see the baby seals frolicking in the pool below a waterfall. Us and hundreds of others. What a sight to see, just enjoyed watching them rather than photographing them.

The sun was very low as we arrived; because I've not Got internet and will tether the iPad to my mobile, I've just grabbed one picture that shows the breathtaking light on the receding hills. We took a trip out to Clifford Bay Area, capturing some wonderful beach shots with the sun setting.

Hopefully, I'll have an opportunity to load some up on Flickr tomorrow or Monday.
