Tucker-ed out

(cue strong Geordie accent) Day 2 in the Basu apartment and Tucker has already succumbed to the arms of Morpheus by 11am!
M texted this morning at 8am asking if we minded him sleeping through the day in our spare room. He is training as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician - ambulance first responder) and works some nights at the mental health facility in Radford near to Blacksburg - he is also quite deaf when he removes his hearing aids which allows him to sleep very well while we get on with our day (but is not so good for the rugby pitch - many amusing stories there!). N jumped out of bed and made up the spare for him then decided to walk Tucker straight away. When N arrived back, M arrived and he and I were sat on the balcony enjoying a cuppa. It was great to catch up with a good friend.
N has so far taken Tucker out 4 times today although most are just 5-10 mins. It's been a day of CV updating, answering emails and generally catching up for me. N relaxed today - she's earned it with husband and dog-sitting. Currently just cooking dinner and looking forward to a film this eve - bliss!
