CAP

The Central Arizona Project (CAP) is a 336 mi diversion canal in Arizona. The aqueduct diverts water from the Colorado River from Lake Havasu City into central and southern Arizona. The CAP is the largest and most expensive aqueduct system ever constructed in the United States. It was shepherded through Congress by Carl Hayden, Senator of Arizona from 1927 to 1969.

My scanning project is nearly complete. 35 carousels of 35mm slides have been reduced to 325 scanned photos. As soon as I locate "strays" the scanning will be done. It turns out that slides were used through 1979, then photos were printed because they could be handed around without the need for a projector.
