The Flynnster

gave us a real scare this morning. A swelling we spotted on his jaw yesterday had turned into a rigid mass by this morning and he couldn't swallow food or liquid. We rushed him to the vet who (best diagnosis) thinks his neck may have been punctured by a thorn or a seed-head and an abcess formed around it. So he's on cortisone, antibiotics, pain-killers, rest and chicken broth. To be honest he was so bad this morning we didn't think we'd be bringing him home and we're not out of the woods yet. However he's back and taking a little breeze but we're still holding our breath. Fingers crossed please.
