Saw a lot of fit men in Lycra today - as the Tour de France passed through Cross Roads

A wonderful spectacle and fantastic atmosphere. Club cyclists were allowed on the route before and after the race proper - they had plenty of support from the crowd. The rule of the day seemed to be if it moves - cheer - clap - or wave - whether it's a bike or not

The riders themselves passed by almost as one - seven man breakaway having a slight lead
