Colours of summer

Another splendid day, with lovely colours in the water and the sand.

A Cross Bay Walk was planned for today but I missed it. From the hills above Grange it would have looked like a procession of ants moving across the sands from left (Arnside) to right (Kents Bank). The sands can be dangerous so the walks are led by the Queen's Guide to the Sands and involve a bit of wading because the River Kent flows even when the tide is low. A fun experience, enjoyed by many!
