Edinburgh Day

A good day out in Edinburgh - morning at the Botanic Gardens, afternoon on Calton Hill and back 'home' via Princes Street Gardens where we watched the Floral Clock tick round to 5pm at which point a cuckoo popped out, great fun! Arrived back just in time to watch the last couple of games of the Wimbledon men's singles final. Would have been very happy to see Federer get his eighth title but, as a nailed on Djokovic fan, I was very pleased by the outcome, it's been a good fortnight.
