Up on Calton Hill

After seeing Edinburgh from the Braid Hills yesterday, sought out other viewpoints today.

Spent the morning in the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh where in addition to the garden there is currently an excellent exhibition of photographs called No Strangers, about the challenges facing indigenous peoples throughout the world.

Then after a suitable pub stop headed for Calton Hall.

Have visited Edinburgh many times over the years (and decades), but I don't remember visiting here - splendid views including the (unfinished) National Monument.
