Tour de France between Holme and Holmefirth Yorksh

We had a brilliant day in Yorkshire for stage two of the tour. We got up early and got off in plenty of time ( three train journey ) to enjoy as much of the day as possible. The atmosphere at Holmfirth was brilliant, the town was packed with families and cyclists. We walked from Brocks Holes to Holme, about nine miles from the train and back. While we were waiting for the peloton to arrive I enjoyed getting some candid shots round about us. I love this shot, the veteran cyclists in their Lycra and the man reading his Sunday paper in the sunshine. I've got a good set of photos of the peloton but this is my favourite shot of the day.
