Maize

This field of maize-or sweetcorn-was just such a lovely mixture of golden browns I had to take a photo. The farms around here often grow maize, even though when I first saw such a crop growing up here in Northumberland I was surprised that it was doing so well.

The dogs ran amongst the stalks and almost got lost!
