Hemerocallis ‘Ruffled Apricot’

I guess I must have a “thing” about salmon and apricot. It seems that I have quite a few roses and daylilies in these tones. This glowing beauty was hybridized by Baker in 1972 and has thick substantial petals on a big (7 inch), fragrant flower. It blooms in early summer and then has a second flower later in the summer.

It has won several awards, including the prestigious “Stout Medal,” the daylily’s highest award.
