Ready for the off

The competitors for the Lakeland Trails Coniston Marathon line up on a far-better-than-forecast Sunday morning. It's a lovely place to go for a run. My race was a couple of hours later than this - and it was really too hot. How often can one say this of the Lake District?! I was only doing half the distance though!
