Escape to Guerneville

BACK BLIP - San Francisco Day 9

We have 3 days off from babysitting for good behavour! So we are on our own till Sunday, and headed up Highway 1 to Guerneville, on Russian River, Sonoma.( about 70 miles)

The heavy fog around the GG Bridge this morning, was with us all the way up the coast road on Highway 1. It was quite atmospheric, and this shot, slightly further inland, shows the mist still in evidence, but beautiful sunshine too. Just a moment before this shot, 2 deer walked across the road, then we saw storks messing about in the water too, then seals, then buzzards, then loads of Vultures. (all on video) Due to reach our destination around late afternoon. (Should be a lot quicker, but keep stopping for photos!)
