The Cross

When the people of Kenmare dedicated their local parish church in 1854 they named it the Church of the Holy Cross - depicted in this beautiful stained glass window over the altar.
Then, as 150 years later, the cross is never far away. As I visited it today, I thought of and prayed for those who are heavily burdened these days.
