A prickle and a sting

We went for another lovely walk today... it's fantastic getting outdoors without rainwear and coats...

I loved seeing the bees darting around on these thistles... they really seem to love shades of pink and purple as we also have a lavender bush that seems to have a swarm of bees all over it...

so all that outdoor enjoyment worked up a hunger and a thirst... needless to say tea and cake was consumed and a cheeky drink in the pub before tea finished the day off nicely.
