Thread Wrapping

This incredible machine was handmade by Swedish artist Anton Alvarez. It seems to resemble a medieval trebuchet but is actually designed to wrap threads around a whole host of wood and plastic lengths , binding them together while simultaneously coating the thread in coloured PVA glue ( the blue goo liberally splashed everywhere). It was incredibly noisy but absolutely fascinating.
