Tasting champagne...

We specifically wanted to visit the Tarlant caves, to taste their "Champagne brut nature zero dosage". We were welcomed personally and were introduced to the Tarlant artisan way of making champagne. The family, currently the 11th and 12th generation, has definitely seen a lot of turmoil in the champagne making history.
The welcome definitely tested my French capabilities, but with the enthusiastic gestures I got most of the explanation.
