1st Ball of the Summer

It's a ritual that happens over the summer. I buy Nerissa ball after ball after ball and she takes a far too enthusiastic attitude to destroying them.

This was her first... and 20 minutes later she was onto her 2nd.

I've tried with smaller balls but it's the ones she can't pick up in her mouth that keep her interest the longest.

I've tried cheap and expensive footballs, volleyballs and even basketballs. The basketballs seem to last the longest, but eventually she manages to destroy it.

And I wouldn't have it any other way. The look of simple uncomplicated fun on her little face is far too important to take away from her.
