Inchgreen dry dock is empty

This drydock has housed the greatest ships ever to be built The Cunard Queens - mainly because they were built just up the river from Greenock, at Clydebank. Nowadays the dock sees a few ships limping in for repair and maintenance. The once great Scott Lithgow shipyard that was immediately next door is now a development of bland, starter homes. In the early part of the 20th century over 10% of THE WORLD'S SHIPPING was built on the Clyde.

It makes me weep, it really does...
