Banana passion fruit

A bit of lovely colour in the winter is provided by the flowers of the wild banana passion fruit vine. It can be quite an invasive plant and is not often cultivated.We have some wild vines growing amongst our native bush. The fruit are wonderful and make delicious jam. I like the flowers also with their very prominent stamen.
