We Came. We Saw. We Conquered.

...and then we went on holiday!

Today we said our final goodbyes, took our triumphant pictures and then cried all the way to the airport (I'm not even joking!) So much has happened here, we have achieved so much more than we could ever have hoped (Ephesians 3:20 anyone? Very definitely not our doing!). We thought we might get the platform for the building finished, not the whole thing! And by coming and living as part of this community for 2 months we have been able to demonstrate something of who God is, and in return they have taught us other things about God and life. We have learnt so much here, and although it's not always been easy, we're so sad to leave. It really feels like we've become part of the family, and it's almost like saying goodbye to our parents all over again.
The day was characterised by a lot of travelling: 3 taxis, 2 planes and a 4 hour bus ride later we arrived at out hostel at about 9pm and collapsed into bed. I spent almost all of the day asleep: I slept through both flights, 1 of the taxi rides and the bus journey!
