The Owl Box

Following the worst Barn Owl breeding season for decades, the population is in significant decline, possibly by as much as 90%. Somerset Wildlife Trust is trying to reverse this decline by donating a nesting box to every parish (335) in the county. Marston Magna's box is fixed to an enormous tree near a footpath opposite my home. Fingers crossed!
