The John Snelgrove Memorial, Wellswood. John Snelgrove was the founder of Marshall & Snelgrove, a partnership formed in 1848, and eventually merged into Debenhams in 1973. The memorial fountain was erected by his daughters. He "was residing at "Corrinagh", Mid Warberry Rd. Tormoham, Devon in 1881. Recently renovated.
