Stones

My week's walking in Ireland included a walk in Gleninchaquinn Park where this small stone circle is located. It's called the Uragh Stone Circle and there's a bit of info here.. Have to say I'm slightly sceptical. There's no archaeology that I can find and it's kind of small. Plus, there's a wee tumulus nearby that looks much more like a location for some kind of small fort or similar, so I'm wondering if these stones have been re-located at some point in their history.

Whatever. It's a fairly iconic image - for Ireland (or indeed, anywhere in the British Isles or Brittany).
